Twitter does not currently offer this function via the official API. However, a workaround can still be used to schedule and publish a retweet via Swat.io.

First, you need the direct link to the tweet. You can get this by clicking on the corresponding tweet on Twitter and copying the link from the address bar in the browser.

This link can then simply be inserted as text in a tweet on Swat.io. Please note that Swat.io cannot generate a preview for the retweet. This would for example look like the screenshot attached. In addition, a text can be inserted before the link and published with the tweet.

The shared post will then look like this after publication:
