Editing already published posts retroactively is only possible directly on the respective social media platform. Direct editing of a post after it has been published via Swat.io is not available. However, edits on the social media platforms are synced with your Swat.io Publisher, which keeps the posts up to date on Swat.io as well.

Swat.io offers quite a simple way to open the post on the social media itself. With a click on "Open post" in Publisher you are redirected to the post on the social media channel. In the following example this would be Facebook:

To edit the post select the three dots at the top right of the post and click "Edit post" in the pop-up:

Subsequently another window opens in which you can edit the post in. Once finished, hit "Save" to apply the changes:

After the post has been edited on the respective social media channel, the change is displayed and highlighted on Swat.io on the right side of the post's activity log:

Please note that syncing changes from social media may take some time.

Planned posts that are not yet published on social media can of course be edited directly on Swat.io until the time of publication.
