With Swat.io, you can create @mentions of other social media profiles directly when replying to comments in the Inbox. This works on most social media platforms integrated in Swat.io by simply typing the @-key followed by the name, company-name or the handle you want to mention.
When commenting on Facebook for example, it looks like this:
Platform-specific implementation

@mentions of followers on LinkedIn
Tagging followers via the official LinkedIn API is currently only possible for profiles that have their display language set to English (or have added an additional English version to their profile). This means that private profiles using other languages cannot be mentioned via the API at this point.
Quick Tip: LinkedIn allows users to add additional language versions to their existing profiles. This means users can simply add an English version to their profile. You can learn how to do this in this article.
Troubleshooting LinkedIn @mentions in comments
If you’re unable to mention a LinkedIn profile, the following reasons may cause the issue. If any of the following criteria is met, you will not be able to @mention the account as desired:
1. The profile isn’t following your LinkedIn page
Mentions only work if the user follows your company page. As a page admin, verify their follower status or ask the user to follow your page.
2. Profile visibility is restricted
If privacy settings hide the profile, it won’t appear in suggestions.
3. Third‑party data sharing is turned off
Users can disable external data access in their privacy settings, preventing Swat.io from retrieving their profile.
4. Mentions are disabled in account settings
Users may prevent others from tagging them; if so, they cannot be mentioned.
