The Asset Library – Your Central Storage

The Asset Library is your central media storage in Swat.io, where you can upload images, videos, and documents needed for your posts.
In this article, you’ll learn which features are available and how to use your files in posts.

Note: This feature is only available for the Small, Medium, and Large plans.

Adding Files to the Asset Library

You can add files to your library using the “Upload or Drop” button.

Upload options:

  • Your drive

  • Dropbox

  • Google Drive

  • Unsplash

Supported file types:

  • Photos

  • Videos

  • Documents

Additionally, you can access already published files.
Under “Published Assets”, you can add previously used files to the library. These are sorted by publication month and can be filtered as needed.

Labels

You can add labels to individual elements in the library.
These labels can be created and managed directly within the library to better organize your files.
Via the three-dot menu, you can create and edit labels.

After Uploading

Once you’ve uploaded files to the library, you can select and edit them.

Available options:

  • Change the file title

  • Add labels for better categorization

  • Add an alternative image description

  • Edit the file with the built-in Swat.io editor

  • Download the file

  • Delete the file

Tip: You can also create posts directly within the Asset Library or move files to the drafts section.

Filter Options

You can use different filters to find the right assets faster:

  • Left side: Filter by labels or file name

  • Right side: Filter by size or date of upload

When planning a post in the Composer, you can access your entire library via the dropdown menu.

You can also use assets for comments. Currently, this feature is only available for Facebook comments.

Info: The Asset Library has a maximum storage capacity.

  • Small: 50 GB

  • Medium: 100 GB

  • Large: 250 GB
