The "AI Draft Reply" feature allows you to compose an individual AI-generated response to incoming comments or messages directly in the Swat.io Inbox. For each message, you provide the AI with a specific instruction - for example, what format the reply should follow or what information it should include.
Unlike automatic AI Replies, responses in "AI Draft Reply" are not generated automatically and displayed directly in the reply field. The feature always requires an active input from you.
The AI's base knowledge is drawn from the information you have stored in the channel settings. You can find these within the workspace settings under "Channels" → Select channel → AI default settings.
Info: "AI Draft Reply" is available in all packages from Medium and above - regardless of whether AI Replies are enabled or disabled.
How to use "AI Draft Reply"
Open a ticket in the Inbox.
Click "Reply" to open the reply field and select the "Draft Reply" option.
Enter your instruction in the text field: Describe what the reply should look like (e.g. tone, specific information, length of the text). Alternatively, use one of the 4 Quick Prompts for common corrections.
Click "Generate" to receive a suggestion.
Use the toggles in the menu to control whether the reply should include emojis and/or hashtags.
You can accept the generated suggestion (button "Accept"), adjust or discard it.
Send the finished reply using the "Send" button.
Quick Tip: Use CMD+ENTER (Mac) or CTRL+ENTER (Windows) to trigger the generation directly via keyboard.
Once you have accepted a suggestion from "AI Draft Reply" into the reply field, you can refine it further. Use AI Enhance to fine-tune your text without having to rewrite it manually.
