What can you do if your one-time password does not work?
1. Check your device's time:
First, make sure that the time set on your smartphone matches the official standard time (e.g. by comparing it on time.is).
This is important because one-time passwords are time-based codes. Even a slight time deviation of a few seconds can prevent successful login.
Tip: If you're unsure, enable automatic time synchronization in your smartphone's settings and wait a few minutes until your clock is synced with the standard time.
2. Use a recovery code:
If login via the one-time password still doesn’t work despite the correct time setting, try using one of your recovery codes.
3. Don’t have your recovery codes?
If you haven’t saved your recovery codes, contact our support team and follow the instructions to reset your two-factor authentication.
