Update name and e-mail

Click on the ‘Edit’ button in the Name and Email fields to:

  • Change your display name in Swat.io.

  • Update your email address.

For security reasons, changing your email address is only possible after entering your password.

Change password

  1. In the same section, click “Edit” next to Password.

  2. Enter your current password, then your new password.

  3. Confirm the new password to complete the change. You will then receive a confirmation email that your password has been successfully updated.

Two‑factor authentication (2FA)

Click on Two-Factor Authentication and then on "Enable 2FA" or "Manage 2FA" if you want to manage an already active 2FA. You can find more information about setting up 2FA here.

If 2FA is already enabled on your account, you have the following options:

  • Generate new recovery codes;

  • Change the authenticator app;

  • Disable your 2FA; This option is not available if 2FA has been enabled at organisation level.

For security reasons, you will be asked to re-enter your password and a current 2FA OTP when generating new recovery codes or changing your authenticator app.

Important: Safely store your recovery codes to ensure access if you switch devices or lose access to your one-time codes.

Enable API access

In your personal settings, you can also create your own API access token. This allows external systems, tools or scripts to access the Swat.io GraphQL API, e.g. via MCP.

Info: API-Access is included in our Medium-, Large-, and Custom-packages. For more details about the packages and the features they include, see here.
