Tags help you structure your content in Swat.io: link posts, tickets, and users with keywords to quickly filter and organize them. Learn how to create, assign, and manage tags.

What are tags?

  • Keywords that you can assign as you wish to categorize content.

  • They make it easier to filter, report, and assign topics.

Info:

Tags are cross-channel and help your team keep track of things, for example, by campaign, priority, or customer.

Add tags to posts & tickets

  1. Open a post or ticket in the detail view.

  2. Click on Tags in the left pane.

  3. Start typing to select an existing tag, or enter a new name and confirm with Enter.

  4. Saved tags appear directly below.

Tag Manager

The Tag Manager allows you to control the assignment and editing of tags and to centrally manage existing tags.

  • You can control whether users are allowed to manually create, edit, or delete tags in individual tickets and posts.

  • The tag manager shows how often a tag has already been assigned.

  • Two existing tags can easily be merged into a single tag.

How to open the tag manager

  • Click on your user icon in the lower left corner → Settings.

  • Select Workspaces → General on the left.

Click on the Tags menu.

Assign tags to users

Tags can also be used to mark users and assign them to specific events.

  • Click on the user name in the ticket.

  • In the user overview, you will find the option to add or remove tags on the right-hand side.

Tags in Analytics

All posts and tickets that have been tagged can be found in the statistics under “Tags.” Here you can see how often a particular tag has been assigned. A distinction is made between tagged posts and tagged tickets.

  1. Open Analytics.

  2. Navigate to Tags.

  3. Select either Inbox or Publisher.
