Default replies are pre-written response templates that can be displayed in the text field for each comment reply and sent automatically. You can configure these individually for each channel.
How to set up a default reply?
You can activate and edit default replies directly in the channel settings.
Info: In order to access the channel-settings in Swat.io, you need permissions as “workspace manager”. In case you cannot see the workspace-section of the settings menu, please contact your Swat.io administrator.
Open the settings by clicking on your username in the bottom left corner and selecting Settings from the menu.
Navigate to "Workspace" in the left sidebar and select "Channels".
Select the channel for which you want to create the default reply.
Scroll down to the "Inbox-section" where you'll find "Default reply".
Click Edit next to the Default Reply field.
Enter your desired text and optionally add placeholders.
Save the template, it will now be automatically inserted into the reply text field.
How does it work when replying?
When replying to a comment, the saved default reply is automatically inserted into the text field. There you can edit it, add to it, or send it directly.
Quick tip: Use placeholders such as {{user_first_name}} and {{user_last_name}} to automatically personalize your responses and make them more efficient.
