Self-service billing

The “Billing and License” section serves as the central hub for our self-service customers to manage all settings and billing-related information.

After successfully creating an account in Swat.io or starting a free trial, this section is automatically available to all administrators.

Info: In order to access the workspace-settings you need permissions as “workspace manager”. In case you don’t have this permission, please contact your Swat.io administrator.

How to open the admin-settings

  1. Open the Settings in Swat.io by clicking on your account name on the bottom left.

  2. Scroll down and navigate to "Administration" and then click on "Billing":

You can view and adjust the following settings:

  • License Management: Use the “Change License” button to upgrade or downgrade your subscription.

  • Channel, user and workspace management: As of the Large-package, you can add or remove channels, users and workspaces via the “Manage” button in the "Usage overview".

  • Payment Overview: At the bottom of the page, you can see the payment history including all past transactions, their status and the respective invoices are available for download.

Note: During the trial period you can switch between all packages for free. Additional channels, users and workspaces can be added as of the Large-package. All changes will only effect a possible payment after the trial period is ended and any billing information was entered.

Managing and adding payment information

On the right side of the billing page you will find all payment details:


The following options are available:

  • View and manage saved payment methods

  • Set payment methods: You can define a primary and secondary payment method, e.g. credit card as primary and PayPal as secondary. If there are issues with the primary method, the secondary method will be used automatically.

  • Supported payment methods and it's management:

    • Credit Card

    • PayPal

    • SEPA Direct Debit

Adding New Payment Methods

Credit Card

PayPal

After clicking on PayPal, you will be transferred to PayPal itself to confirm the desired account for future payments and to add it to Swat.io.

SEPA Direct Debit

When selecting SEPA Direct Debit, you first need to enter your IBAN, name and optionally a company name. Confirm, that the information is correct by clicking “Save”. The payment method is now securely stored in our system.

After adding a SEPA mandate you will receive a confirmation email followed by a notification several days before the first withdrawal, to inform you about the upcoming payment.
