In this article, you will find answers to the most common questions about billing, trial periods, accounts, roles, and packages in Swat.io.
Billing & Payments
Where can I find my billing information and how can I edit it?
To access the Billing tab in the settings, you need to have admin rights for your organization.
Under Payment Information, you’ll find the stored details, which you can edit by clicking Edit.
What happens after my trial period ends?
After the trial ends, there are two possible scenarios:
Trial ends and no payment method is added
Your account becomes inactive.
Saved channels and tickets remain but can only be used again with a valid license.
You can reactivate your license anytime via the Billing & License page.
Trial ends and a payment method is added
The first month will be billed automatically after the trial ends.
You’ll receive an invoice with date and amount.
Billing continues automatically using the stored payment method.
Trial Period & Subscriptions
Are past data imported once I add a channel?
When a new channel is added in Swat.io, data from the last 7 days will be imported.
How do I delete my account and what happens afterward?
Your account is not permanently deleted but becomes inactive after the trial or subscription ends. You can reactivate it later if needed. After approx. 4 months, your data will be deleted automatically.
Info: For a complete deletion, please contact our support team.
Packages & Pricing
Can I use Inbox without Publisher?
No. Publisher is our core product. Inbox builds on Publisher and cannot be used as a standalone product.
I need different package sizes for Publisher and Inbox – is that possible?
No. Publisher and Inbox are always available in the same package size.
Different sizes would cause problems with limits for channels and users.
Can I make changes during the trial period or my subscription?
Yes, changes are possible at any time:
During the trial: free of charge and effective immediately.
For downgrades: effective immediately, reduced costs are reflected in the next invoice.
For upgrades: prorated costs are billed immediately, and the full amount applies from the next billing cycle.
User Roles & Permissions
What is the difference between the different user roles?
Workspace Managers: Access to workspace settings, channels, and team management.
Admins: Same rights as Workspace Managers + additional rights on the organization level (e.g. billing information).
Users: Depending on assignment, can have full, restricted, or no permissions in Swat.io.
