In this article you will learn how to activate and manage your personal API token in Swat.io. This token is used to authenticate access to Swat.io through our API.
Important: API access depends on your booked Swat.io plan and is available to customers with a Large or Custom plan. You can find an overview of our plans and included features here.

Activation
Open the Swat.io settings by clicking on your username in the bottom left corner and selecting "Settings" from the menu.
Navigate to Profile Info in the left sidebar.
Scroll down to the section "Enable API Access" and activate this option. After activation your personal API token is generated automatically.
Manage API token
You can view your API token at any time in the same section.
Treat your API token as confidential and do not share it publicly.
If your token has been compromised, we recommend disabling it and generating a new one.
Good to know
The API token is user-specific and not valid workspace-wide.
If you do not see access to the API feature, please check your booked plan.
