Overview
To boost a pre-scheduled post on Facebook, it must first be created in Swat.io and published to Facebook. When creating the post in the Publisher, select the “Schedule” option.
Alternatively, you can create a post directly on Facebook or in the Business Manager for boosting.
Step 1: Prepare and publish the post
Once the pre-scheduled post is saved and approved (see this article for details), a new option appears in the top status bar: “Open Scheduled post”
Important: To view the post on Facebook, you must be logged in with a Facebook account that has the necessary permissions for the page.
Step 2: Open the post and boost
Click on the post URL to open it on Facebook. At the bottom of the post, you’ll see the option:
“Boost Post”
Clicking it will open a new window, where you can set up the promotion and configure additional ad settings.
Note: Boosting pre-scheduled posts via Swat.io is only possible if:
The post is successfully published on Facebook
You have the required page permissions
You are logged in with the correct Facebook account
