In this article, you’ll learn how to plan and publish X re-posts in Swat.io using a simple workaround, even though X currently does not offer official API support for re-posts.
Create a Re-Post
Currently, X does not allow re-posts to be published directly via the API. With the following workaround, you can still schedule a re-post in Swat.io:
Copy the direct link to the original post
Open the desired post on X.
Click on it and copy the URL from your browser’s address bar.
Insert the link in Swat.io
Open the Publisher in Swat.io and create a new post.
Paste the copied link into the text field.
Optionally, you can add extra text before the link.
Note: No preview will be generated for re-posts in Swat.io.
Publish the post
Schedule or publish the post as usual. Here’s what the re-post will look like after publishing:
Tip: You can add more context or hashtags to your re-post by including additional text.
