Why deactivate comments?
Not every post on TikTok is suitable for discussions in the comments. Some content is meant to simply inform or be published without interaction. For this purpose, Swat.io gives you the option to specifically deactivate comments on TikTok posts.
Deactivating comments in Swat.io
With the feature for deactivating commenting, you can decide whether comments should be allowed when creating a new TikTok post:
Either create a new post or open a saved post in Swat.io Publisher and go to the advanced settings at the bottom of the Swat.io composer;
There you’ll find the option “Deactivate comments”;
Activate the button if you don’t want comments to be allowed under your post.
Turning on commenting after publication
Unfortunately the API we received from TikTok does not allow re-enabling comments directly in Swat.io after a post was published. If you want to re-enable comments after the publication of a post, you can do so directly on TikTok:
