Flexible user permissions can be set to manage the structure within your team in Swat.io. Permissions can be set at the workspace or channel level to ensure the right members have access to the features they need.
Which permission system is available to you depends on your license:

1. Simple Publisher Permission System (Small)
In the Small tier, permission assignment is binary: members either have full access to the Publisher or none at all. Individual role assignment is not possible.
Available permission types:
Full: full, unrestricted access to all Publisher features (create, edit, publish, delete, assign posts)
None: no access to the Publisher

2. Basic Permission System (Medium)
In the Medium tier, four permission types can be assigned individually per member.
Available permission types:
Full (core team): full access to all Publisher features
Suggest Only (content producers): create and duplicate posts, but only save them as suggestions. No approval or publishing allowed
Read Only: read access to all posts, export allowed, no comments or publishing
None: no access to the respective channel or workspace

3. Expanded Permission System (Large, Custom, Enterprise)
In the Large tier as well as in all Custom and Enterprise licenses, two additional assignment-based permission types are available. This allows for more granular structures, e.g. for interns or the legal department.
Available permission types:
Full (core team): full, unrestricted access
Assigned / Full (e.g. interns): full access, but only to assigned posts. No deletion allowed
Suggest Only (content producers): save posts only as suggestions
Assigned Feedback (e.g. legal department): read only assigned posts, feedback possible via the activity log
Read Only: read access to all posts, export allowed
None: no access to the respective channel or workspace
