This article will guide you step by step through the process of setting up email forwarding for Office 365.
1. Copy the inbound email address from the channel settings in Swat.io which has been generated automatically. When messages are forwarded to this address, Swat.io can subsequently receive them and display them as a ticket.
2. Open Outlook for the account you want to set up email forwarding for. Click settings at the top of the menu bar and click Show All Outlook settings.
3. In the settings, select "Email" and "Forwarding".
Check the "Start forwarding" option and paste the inbound email address you copied from the channel settings. We also recommend checking the "Keep copy of forwarded messages" option, otherwise the forwarded emails will not be available in your Outlook mailbox later.
Then click on Save in the upper right corner.
Switch back to the channel settings and click the "Verify email forwarding" button. Reload the page after a few minutes and check if the status is now changed to verified.
Now you have successfully set up the email forwarding and you will receive all
emails also as a ticket in Swat.io.
