Campaigns & Events

This feature allows you to to schedule, create and organise campaigns & events for a specific timeframe.

With that you can easily create, organise and schedule campaigns/events in the calendar of a specific workspace. Campaigns are displayed as banners in your calendar allowing easy editing of individual events.

Creating a campaign

In order to be able to create a campaign in a workspace, you need either "full" or "assigned full" permissions in at least one channel of the respective workspace.

There are two ways to create a campaign in your publisher-calendar:

1. You can create a campaign by using the dropdown menu appearing when clicking the "Create"-button:

2. Through the campaign button appearing when you hover over the section in the calendar with the mouse pointer:

Each workspace can have multiple campaigns/events scheduled for the same time.

When clicking on "create campaign", a window will open allowing you to:

  • Define a title

  • Add a timeframe

  • Add a description

  • Select a banner colour and symbol

  • Add one or more tags to a specific campaign

Campaigns in Calendar

Campaigns will be displayed as banners in calendar view (daily, weekly, monthly) and clicking on the banner will open a detail view showing the full campaign name, a description, the duration of the campaign and associated tags:

Editing a campaign

In order for a user to edit campaign details, you need either "full" or "assigned full" permissions in at least one channel of the respective workspace. Deleting a campaign is only possible with "full" permissions in at least one channel.

When hovering over a campaign-banner, you will see an edit button on the banner itself, where you can perform the desired changes:

Depending on the Package, you have the option of linking your posts directly to campaigns or events in addition to the range of functions presented above. This makes it even easier for you to keep track of planned campaigns & events.

Automatic tagging: As tags can be linked directly to campaigns, with our latest update campaign-related posts will receive the same tags as the campaign - automatically.

Visual indicators: To highlight that a post belongs to a campaign, each campaign post in calendar receives a campaign-banner. It is also possible to display a filtered list view with all posts linked to a specific campaign.

Flexibility in regards to the timeframe: Your post does not have to match the exact time frame of the campaign. You can link a post to a campaign regardless of the publishing date.

How to add a post to an existing campaign?

1. Directly in calendar by selecting one or more posts and then clicking on the campaign drop-down menu in the action-bar:
