Info: In order to access the workspace-settings or to add a new channel in Swat.io, you need permissions as “workspace manager”. In case you don’t have this permission, please contact your Swat.io administrator.
In order to connect a YouTube channel to Swat.io, follow these steps:
Open the Settings at the bottom left by clicking on the User name, proceed to the Workspace-Settings and go to the “Channels” section.
Click the “Add Channel” button in the top right corner.
Select “YouTube” as the channel type and in the following popup agree to the terms of service of Swat.io, YouTube and Google.
Then click “Authorize”.
Sign in with the Google account that is linked to the YouTube channel you want to add or confirm the correct account if you’re already signed in in your browser.
In the next step, grant Swat.io the necessary permissions on YouTube to post and manage content, as well as to retrieve comments.
After confirming the permissions, you’ll be redirected back to Swat.io, where you can select the YouTube channel you want to connect.
As soon as the connection has been established successfully, the channel will be available for use in Swat.io.
