Requirements
In order to add a Pinterest account to Swat.io as a new channel, the following prerequisites must be met:
The Pinterest account has to be a business account. It is possible to convert an existing account to a business account. For more information on that topic, please follow the link.
To add the Pinterest account to Swat.io, you need to be logged into your Pinterest business account in the same browser as Swat.io during setup.
Info: In order to access the workspace settings or to add a new channel in Swat.io, you need permissions as "workspace manager". In case you don't have this permission, please reach out to a workspace manager or Swat.io Admin in your organization.
Add channel
In order to add a Pinterest channel to Swat.io, follow these steps:
Open the general "Workspace Settings" by clicking on your account name in the bottom-left corner;
Navigate to the "Channels" section;
Click the "Add Channel" button in the top-right corner;
In the section Publisher-Only, seleck "Pinterest";
In the following popup you are asked to agree to Swat.io's General Terms and Conditions and the Pinterest Terms of Service;
You will now be redirected to Pinterest, where you'll be asked to confirm the connection between your currently logged-in Pinterest account and Swat.io;
After confirmation, the channel will be shown in the following page in Swat.io. Click "Add" to complete the setup.
The setup is now complete and your newly added channel will appear in the Publisher section of the selected workspace’s channel list - ready for you to start creating your first post.
Important: Pinterest in Swat.io can only be added to Swat.io publisher for content creation. Community management in Swat.io Inbox is not available as per the limitation of Pinterest's API.
