This guide explains how to add an X account as a channel to your Swat.io workspace.
Info: In order to access the workspace settings or to add a new channel in Swat.io, you need permissions as "workspace manager". In case you don't have this permission, please reach out to a workspace manager or Swat.io Admin in your organization.
Add a channel
To add an X channel to Swat.io, follow these steps:
Open the general "Workspace Settings" in the bottom left by clicking on your account name;
There you will find the "Channels" section;
In the upper right, click the "Add Channel" button;
Scroll down in the "Main Channels" section and select "X";
In the following pop-up, you will be asked to agree to the terms of service of Swat.io and X.
A dialog window from X will open, asking you to grant Swat.io access to your account. Confirm by clicking "Authorize app".
After successful authorization, you will be automatically redirected back to Swat.io, where a list of your X accounts available to add will be displayed. Select the desired account and click "Add" to complete the process.
The setup is now complete. Your newly added channel will be available in the Publisher (and optionally in the Inbox) in the channel list of your workspace - ready for your first post.
