Explanation

This article explains how many people your page or account has reached—commonly known as page reach. In Swat.io Analytics, reach for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn is divided into two categories:

  • Organic: Users reached through unpaid distribution.

  • Paid: Users reached via paid promotions.

Info: This metric is currently supported only for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn channels in Swat.io.

How Reach Is Calculated

The graph shows daily reach numbers for both organic and paid segments. Since a single user can appear in multiple categories on the same day (e.g., reached by an organic post and a paid ad), these numbers cannot be combined together to a sum without double‑counting.

Definitions: "organic" vs. "paid"

  • Organic Reach: The number of unique users who saw your content which was not boosted by ad-payments.

  • Paid Reach: The number of unique users who saw specific posts you "boosted" by ad-payments.
