In this article, you’ll learn how to connect a Google Business Profile (formerly Google My Business) as a channel in Swat.io.
Info: In order to access the workspace-settings or to add a new channel in Swat.io, you need permissions as “workspace manager”. In case you don’t have this permission, please contact your Swat.io administrator.
Connect a Google Business Profile
Open the general Workspace settings and click Channels. In the top right, click Add Channel. Select the Google Business channel type, check the box to accept the terms of use, and click Authorize.
Sign in with Google
You’ll be prompted to sign in with a Google account that’s linked to the Google Business account you want to connect. Choose the appropriate account and, in the next step, confirm the permissions shown to grant Swat.io access.
Add the channel
After granting permissions, you’ll be redirected back to Swat.io. You’ll now see the Google Business channel to be added. Select it and click Add to complete the process.
