AI Moderation is a feature in Swat.io that automatically analyzes, evaluates, and processes comments. It includes:

  • Automatic hiding of inappropriate comments

  • Automatic sentiment assignment (positive, neutral, negative)

  • Automatic marking as read

How to activate AI Moderation

AI Moderation can be activated directly in the workspace settings:

  1. Open the settings by clicking on your username in the bottom left corner and selecting Settings from the menu.

  2. Navigate to "Workspace" in the left sidebar and select "Channels".

  3. Scroll down to the "Inbox" section where you'll find the "Comment Settings".

Info: In order to access the workspace-settings in Swat.io, you need permissions as “workspace manager”. In case you cannot see the workspace-section of the settings menu, please contact your Swat.io administrator.

Here you can see the following options available:

AI Sentiment Analysis

  • Positive: Friendly, supportive, or praising

  • Neutral: Factual, unclear, or neither positive nor negative

  • Negative: Critical, dismissive, or generally negative

If no clear sentiment can be assigned, none will be set.

AI to mark comments as “read”

The AI identifies comments that don’t require a reply and marks them as read.
Examples:

  • “Exactly what I was looking for😍!”

  • “Great post😁!”

  • “Thanks for the insights!”

Option: Can be applied during or outside business hours.

AI to hide comments

The AI hides comments with inappropriate content, such as:

  • Generally offensive or disrespectful remarks

  • Use of swear words to intensify negativity

  • Hate speech or racist prejudice

Differing but factual opinions will not be hidden.
Examples of tolerated criticism:

  • “The statistics in this post seem incomplete …”

  • “The arguments in this article are not comprehensive enough …”

Option: Passive mode → AI only suggests hiding instead of acting automatically.
Timeframes can also be set (Edit → Save).
