In this article, you will learn how to create your own custom reports in Swat.io Insights and how to export these manually or automatically as PDF or Excel files. Swat.io also offers the option to set up and export your custom dashboards automatically and to schedule these exports individually.

What is a dashboard?

With Swat.io insights, you can generate custom reports for your channels in our insights-section. You can define a specific time period in which all interactions and metrics are included.

You can find an overview of the available widgets of Swat.io Insights under the following link.

Structure of the explorer-report

The manual report in our explorer can be freely customized. You have the option to select different metrics, move them around at any time and adjust their size to your liking.

Customization and filtering options

You can manually choose the time period for which the report should be compiled. Additionally, you can optionally define a comparison period to put the values into context. You can also select any number of your channels to include in the report.

The third way to narrow down the report results is through additional filters. Similar to the time period and channel selection, you can define the following options: post type, promotion of the post, campaign and tags.

Manual download of the Explorer report

Using the Export button in the top right corner, you can export the report in the Explorer at any time as a PDF or Excel file. The export will then be sent to you per email and contains the data from the Explorer with your custom filters for the selected time period.
