Requirements
In order to add a Threads account to Swat.io you will need the following:
An Instagram account which is linked to the Threads account you want to add.
The respective Threads account needs to be set to public.
Info: In order to access the workspace-settings or to add a new channel in Swat.io, you need permissions as “workspace manager”. In case you don’t have this permission, please contact your Swat.io administrator.
How to add your Threads-account
To add a Threads-account as a channel to Swat.io, follow these steps:
Open the Settings by clicking on your account name in the bottom-left corner and then proceed to the "Workspace Settings".
Navigate to the "Channels" section.
Click the "Add Channel" button in the top-right corner.
In the section of the Main Channels click on "Threads".
On the following popup you will now have to agree to the terms of service of Swat.io and Threads. Click „Authorize“.
Now log in to Threads with the Instagram account used to create your Threads account and grant Swat.io the necessary permissions:
After that, Swat.io will display a popup showing the Threads account you want to add. Click on “Add Channel.”
The setup is now complete and your newly added channel will appear in the Publisher section (optionally also in the Inbox) of the selected workspace’s channel list - ready for you to start creating your first post.
