Requirements
In order to add a LinkedIn Company Page to Swat.io as a new channel, you need to be logged into LinkedIn with the respective account in the same browser as Swat.io. You also have to have admin-rights on the LinkedIn Company Page you want to integrate. Please ensure that you are logged into the correct LinkedIn account in your browser.
Info: In order to access the workspace-settings or to add a new channel in Swat.io, you need permissions as “workspace manager”. In case you don’t have this permission, please contact your Swat.io administrator.
How to add your LinkedIn Company Page
To add a LinkedIn profile as a channel to Swat.io, follow these steps:
Open the Settings by clicking on your account name in the bottom-left corner and then proceed to the "Workspace Settings".
Navigate to the "Channels" section.
Click the "Add Channel" button in the top-right corner.
In the list of the "Main channels" click on "LinkedIn page".
On the following popup you will now have to agree to the terms of service of Swat.io and LinkedIn. Click „Authorize“.
You will then see a LinkedIn permissions dialog, which you need to confirm. Please again make sure, that you are logged into LinkedIn with the account that has the correct permissions on the page you would like to add to Swat.io.
After that, Swat.io will display a popup showing the LinkedIn page that you want to add. Click on “Add Channel.”
The setup is now complete and your newly added channel will appear in the Publisher section (optionally also in the Inbox) of the selected workspace’s channel list - ready for you to start creating your first post.
