Requirements
In order to add a LinkedIn profile page as a new channel in Swat.io, you need to be logged into LinkedIn with the corresponding account in the same browser session parallel to Swat.io.
Setting up a LinkedIn profile channel
Info: In order to access the workspace-settings or to add a new channel in Swat.io, you need permissions as “workspace manager”. In case you don’t have this permission, please contact your Swat.io administrator.
To add a LinkedIn profile as a channel to Swat.io, follow these steps:
Open the Settings by clicking on your account name in the bottom-left corner and then navigate to the "Workspace Settings".
Navigate to the "Channels" section.
Click the "Add Channel" button in the top-right corner.
In the list of the "Main channels" click on the "LinkedIn profile" icon and in the following popup agree to the terms of service of Swat.io and LinkedIn.
Click „Authorize“.
You will then see a LinkedIn permissions dialog, which you need to confirm. Please make sure that you are logged into LinkedIn with the account that you would like to add to Swat.io.
After that, Swat.io will display a popup showing the LinkedIn profile page that you want to add. Click on “Add Channel.”
The setup is now complete and your newly added channel will appear in the Publisher section (optionally also in the Inbox) of the selected workspace’s channel list - ready for you to start creating your first post.
