The Comments section in the Swat.io Insights Explorer allows you to analyze your community’s interactions in the form of comments on your published posts. Here you gain insight into commenting behavior across your connected channels.
What is analyzed?
The Comments overview in the Explorer is based exclusively on platform-side comment data from your connected social media channels. The focus is on the number and development of comments within the selected time period.
You gain insight into:
the total number of comments
the development of comment volume over time
differences between channels or profiles
Available metrics
Number of comments
Total number of received comments within the selected time period.
Number of comments on posts in which the page was mentioned.
Comments over time
Development of comment volume within the selected time period.
Comparison options
Comparison of comment volume between profiles.
Number of deleted or hidden comments.
You can find answers to the following questions
What is the sentiment of the comments (negative, neutral or positive)?
Is the number of comments increasing or decreasing?
Which channels receive particularly high numbers of comments?

Note: Not all filters are available for every widget and certain post-related filters can only be applied to specific widgets (e.g. the "post type" filter used in the "follower growth widget").
Transfer to dashboards
From our Medium plan onwards, it is also possible to transfer any widget from this view directly into an individual dashboard using the currently selected filters. The selected time range, channels and active filters are automatically applied.

Comment data is only available from the time the channel was connected.
The displayed metrics are provided directly by the connected platforms.
