Written by Florian Triller-Windisch
Updated this week

The Posts section of the Swat.io Insights Explorer allows you to analyze the performance of your published posts. Here you can see how your community interacts with your published content and how individual posts perform on the connected platforms.

What is analyzed?

The Posts overview in the Explorer is based on the performance data we receive from the APIs of your connected social media channels. You will gain insight into the following metrics, among others:

  • Reach and visibility

  • Community interactions

  • Performance of individual posts

The focus here is on how successfully your published content performs.

Available metrics

Reach & visibility

  • Reach

  • Impressions

Interactions

  • Likes or reactions

  • Comments

  • Shares

  • Clicks

Performance evaluation

  • Total interactions

  • Interaction-to-impression rate

  • Top posts by selected metric

You can find answers to the following questions

  • Which posts achieve the highest reach?

  • Which content generates the most interactions?

  • Which formats perform better?

  • How do user interactions develop over time?

Filters & customization

A detailed explanation of all available filter options can be found in the article
"Insights Explorer: Overview & Features".

Note: Not all filters are available for every widget and certain post-related filters can only be applied to specific widgets (e.g. the "post type" filter used in the "follower growth widget").

Transfer to dashboards

From our Medium plan onwards, it is also possible to transfer any widget from this view directly into an individual dashboard using the currently selected filters. The selected time range, channels and active filters are automatically applied.

You can find more information in the article: "Individual Dashboards: Create, Manage & Reporting".

Good to know

  • The displayed metrics are provided directly by the connected social networks.

  • Available metrics may vary depending on the platform.

  • Historical data depends on the connected profile.

Quick tip: An explanation as well as any platform-specific limitations are indicated in the tooltip (i) of each widget.
