Publisher: Metrics & Analysis

Written by Florian Triller-Windisch
Updated this week

The Publisher section of the Swat.io Insights Explorer allows you to analyze your internal content publishing activity within Swat.io. Here you can evaluate how actively content is created and published across your connected channels.

What is analyzed?

The Publisher overview in the Explorer is based exclusively on internal publishing data from Swat.io. You gain insight into:

  • your publishing activity

  • your content output over time

  • the distribution of posts across profiles

The focus is on how much content was created and published within a selected time period.

Available metrics

Publishing activity

  • Number of published posts

  • Published posts per profile

  • Published posts over time

Output distribution

  • Posting frequency per time period

  • Activity comparison across profiles

Comparison over time

  • Comparison of publishing volume between specific timeframes and profiles

You can find answers to the following questions

  • How many posts were published during a specific time period?

  • Are there differences in publishing activity between profiles?

  • How has your content output changed over time?

Filters & customization

A detailed explanation of all available filter options can be found in the article
"Insights Explorer: Overview & Features".

Note: Not all filters are available for every widget and certain post-related filters can only be applied to specific widgets (e.g. the "post type" filter used in the "follower growth widget").

Transfer to dashboards

From our Medium plan onwards, it is also possible to transfer any widget from this view directly into an individual dashboard using the currently selected filters. The selected time range, channels and active filters are automatically applied.

You can find more information in the article: "Individual Dashboards: Create, Manage & Reporting".
